2. 15kV composite post insulators crimping
Line post pin insulators are made of the fibre glass core rod coverd with silicone rubber by high temperature vulcanization whole injection.
The end fillings are compression crimped to the core and sheath to ensure a weatherproof seal.


3. Marking
Each insulator unit is marked with the name or trade mark of the manufacturer, the year of manufacture, the specified mechanical failing load and serial no. in accordance with IEC 61952 and means to ensure a system of trace-ability for each of the component parts.

4. Packing and Transportation
Insulator units shall be packed in plywood cases or solid wood cases. The packing shall afford adequate protection for the insulators during handling and shipping.

5. Composite Post Insulator's installation, storing and transportation
1)When the Composite Post Insulator with the base is installed, the base and insulator are bolted together with bolts firstly and then fixed integrally on the mounting rack.
2)Before installation, the goods should stored in dry warehouse. It should not expose to oil and petrifaction products, and should take actions to keep away from rats.
3)During transportation, hardware fittings and other heavy objects shouldn't be stacked on the insulators directly to avoid damaging the insulator's sheath. So it should be unpacked only at the installation site.
4)Be careful and avoid edge tools cutting the insulator's sheds when unpacking the Box.
5)Don't drag the insulators on the ground.
6)Be careful not to bend the insulator too much, which avoid the excessive bending stress of insulators' rod.
7)The rope should be attached to the end-fitting rather than hang it on the insulator's sheds directly when in hanging installation.
8)Don't treading and climbing on insulators.
