Composite 33kV or 35kV polymer disc insulator is composed of silicone rubber umbrella skirt, glass fiber epoxy resin solid rod and metal fittings.The silicone rubber sheds adopts the HTV whole injection and compression technology, and the glass fiber solid rod is connected with the metal fittings in the compression and connection way, thus solving the key problem affecting the reliability of composite insulators -- the interface electrical breakdown.
