- The insulator consists of two main parts: the core and the housing, both equipped with metal fittings.
- The core is made from high-quality Glassfiber Reinforced Polymer (GRP) rod, providing excellent mechanical strength and electrical performance.
- The housing (sleeve with weather sheds) is made of high-performance silicone rubber, designed to provide the specified creepage distance and withstand high-voltage outdoor conditions.
- Both core and housing are free from defects, voids, cracks, contamination, or blemishes that could affect long-term performance.
The core is manufactured from electrical-grade epoxy combined with boron-free E-glass or ECR glass fibers.
The core is mechanically sound, free from voids, foreign substances, and manufacturing flaws.
