At present, composite cross arm insulators are widely used in power gridtransmission lines, accounting for about 50% of the line silicone rubber insulator consumption. This series of cross arm post insulator are composed of three parts: glass fiber epoxy resin drawing rod, silicone rubber umbrella skirt and metal fittings. The silicone rubber umbrella skirt adopts the whole injection and compression process, thus solving the key problem affecting the reliability of composite insulators -- the interface electrical breakdown.
