Tension clamps are used for cornering, splicing, and terminal connection. Tension clamps can be broadly classified into two types based on their structure and installation conditions. The first type: The tension clamp is responsible for bearing the entire tension of the conductor or lightning conductor. The clamping force of the clamp should be no less than 90% of the rated tensile strength of the installed conductor or lightning conductor. However, it is not used as a conductive body. Such clamps can be removed after the conductor is installed and used separately. This type of clamp includes bolt-type tension clamps and wedge-type tension clamps, etc. The second type: The tension clamp not only bears the entire tension of the conductor or lightning conductor but also serves as a conductive body. Therefore, once installed, this type of clamp cannot be removed. It is called a dead clamp. Due to its conductive nature, the installation of the clamp must be carried out in accordance with the relevant installation operation procedures.
