Post Insulators Inspection and Testing
1.1Type Tests
The following type tests as per the relevant standard shall be conducted on the Insulators of identical design to prove that the offered insulator satisfies all the design requirements set out in this specification.
(i)Verification of the dimensions
(ii)Mechanical failing load
(iii)Thermal-mechanical performance test
(iv)Dry lightning impulse withstand voltage test
(v)Wet Power-frequency withstand voltage test
1.2Routine Tests
The manufacturer shall carry out, at his own expense, the routine tests; specified in IEC 60383. The routine tensile load shall be 50% of the electromechanical failing load.

Marking
Each Post Insulators unit is marked with the name or trade mark of the manufacturer and the year of manufacture in accordance with IEC 61952 and means to ensure a system of trace-ability for each of the component parts. In addition, each insulator unit is marked with the specified mechanical failing load in conformity with lEC 61952 and client' requirements.
Package and Transportation
Insulator units shall be packed in plywood cases or solid wood cases. The packing shall afford adequate protection for the insulators during handling and shipping. We can provide CO(Original Certificates) if client need.
