This disc insulators series consists of three integral components: a glass fiber epoxy resin drawing rod, a silicone rubber umbrella skirt, and metal fittings. The silicone rubber umbrella skirt is manufactured using a comprehensive injection and compression process, effectively addressing a crucial issue that impacts the reliability of composite insulators-the interface electrical breakdown.

FEATURES:
The silicone rubber housing of the Composite Line Post Insulator is formed through a complete injection process. It exhibits excellent hydrophobicity, hydrophobicity migration, and soil resistance. Additionally, it possesses outstanding electrical insulation properties and aging resistance, effectively preventing pollution flashover incidents and ensuring the secure operation of high voltage transmission lines.
The modified ECR fiberglass-reinforced epoxy resin rod is employed due to its resistance to high temperature, stress corrosion, and acid attacks. It also offers fine damping action, high tensile strength (> 1200Mpa), and resistance to creep and fatigue failure. These properties effectively guarantee the internal insulation quality and mechanical strength of the insulators.
End fittings are crimped onto the fiberglass rod using a voice-operated displacement type crimper. This crimping technique imparts high mechanical strength with minimal dispersion. The production and assembly employ the most advanced automatic overall injection molding technique and crimping connection method. The entire crimping procedure is computer-controlled, with the results monitored by an ultrasonic detector to ensure the qualification of each product.
