Post insulators for railways are designed to withstand significant mechanical stresses from passing trains, as well as fluctuating environmental conditions. They are constructed to endure these challenges and ensure a reliable power supply for trains.

Suspension clamps are widely utilized in fixed installations. Currently, they feature the U-bolt design, commonly referred to as boat-shaped clamps. These clamps consist of a bracket U-bolt, a clamp body made from forgeable cast iron, and a pressure plate. Additionally, there exists a pre-twisted suspension clamp variant. Suspension clamps serve multiple purposes: they secure conductors onto the polymer insulator strings of straight pole towers or suspend lightning arresters on these towers. Furthermore, they can be employed to support transposition conductors on transposition pole towers and to fix jumpers at tension angle pole towers.
