Installation Precautions
1. During transportation and installation of insulators, they should be handled with care, not thrown, and avoid collision and friction with various miscellaneous parts (wires, iron plates, tools, etc.) and pointed hard objects.
2. When the composite insulator is hoisted, the rope knot should be tied on the end accessories, and it is strictly prohibited to tie on the sheds or sheath. When the rope must touch the sheds and sheath, it should be wrapped with soft cloth in the contact part.
3. Composite insulators shall not be used as auxiliary tools for retracting (retracting) lines to avoid damage to insulators caused by impact force or bending moment.
4. Do not step on insulator sheds.
5. When installing the equalizing ring, it shall be adjusted to make the ring perpendicular to the axis of the insulator. For the open-mouth equalizing ring, pay attention to the same opening direction at both ends, so as to facilitate discharge and protect the sheds.
