In overhead transmission networks, polymer insulators serve two essential purposes. These electrical insulators prevent electrical current from flowing into towers or poles by keeping energized conductors insulated, and at the same time the silicone rubber insulator act as load-bearing components, holding the conductors in place against gravity, wind, and mechanical stress.

Injection
The molding process for umbrella covers has largely shifted from the original extrusion and stringing process to a segmented integral injection process, reducing the number of interfaces and improving operational reliability.
Crimping
Many domestic manufacturers employ gapless displacement crimping technology with a sound-controlled system, resulting in more reliable crimping and stable strength. Currently, the tensile strength of suspension composite insulators from major domestic manufacturers generally reaches 1.3 to 1.5 times the rated strength.
Fiberglass Rod
The mandrel and silicone coupling utilize high-performance adhesive, continuously improving interfacial bonding performance. This ensures that the leakage current in the water diffusion test of the sheathed mandrel is controlled below 100μA.
Silicone Rubber
The silicone rubber formulated by Wuhan LINE Power ensures its adhesion and excellent water repellency, which guarantees the quality of our products.
