The unique shed geometry avoids continuous water films, reducing leakage currents and thermal effects. Even under lightning strikes, the silicone sheds remain intact with visible burn marks-making inspections easier.
After electrical testing, including immersion, flashover, and withstand voltage, all results met standards. Given stable local temperatures, thermal cycling tests were deemed unnecessary.
