Electrical Silicone Rubber Composite Station Post Insulator

 The station post (SP) insulators utilized in power handling equipment at power plants and substations serve to support electric cables and various other apparatus, effectively isolating them from the ground. Each SP insulator is designed to support individual pieces of equipment; multiple insulators can be interconnected to create an insulator column.

Station post insulators serve as both insulating and structural supports for power plants, transmission and distribution substations, and various other electrical facilities operating at voltages up to 1100kV. These post insulators can be constructed from materials such as porcelain and silicone polymer.
