Products Description
Line Post Polymer Insulators are support and insulation devices used in overhead transmission lines.
Line Post: This refers to the insulator's typical installation on top of poles or posts to support the conductors while isolating them from the pole or grounding structure.
**Polymer:** This indicates that the insulator's body is made of a composite material/polymer (typically silicone rubber or EPDM rubber sleeve + fiberglass core), rather than traditional ceramic or glass.
Therefore, its function is to support the conductors and provide high-voltage insulation, while also being lightweight and resistant to contamination.
The Structure
The core utilizes a high-quality pultruded FRP rod, engineered with optimized fiber alignment and homogeneous distribution throughout the epoxy resin system.
The bases are made of ductile iron (rigid type) or rolled steel (bendable type), with all surfaces galvanized.

The end fittings are manufactured from ductile iron in compliance with ASTM A536, and all surfaces exposed to environmental conditions are hot-dip galvanized in accordance with ASTM A153.
