FEATURES :
38kV Fuse Cutout is connected with the incoming feeder of the distribution transformer or lines applicable for protecting transformers or lines from cutting-out, overloads and switching currents. The drop out fuse unit is made up of insulator supports and a fuse tube. The static contact is fixed on both sides of the insulator bracket, and the movable contact is installed at both ends of the fuse. The interior of the fuse tube is the extinguishing tube and the exterior of the fuse tube is made up of phenolic compound paper tube or epoxy glass. Fuses are the fatest overload protection devices for high short-circuit currents with low minimum breaking current, low power losses and arc-voltage.
