HV Glass Suspension Insulator U70BS
The U70BS glass suspension insulator is designed for high-voltage power transmission and distribution systems. It provides reliable insulation and secure fastening for conductors and lightning-proof cables on overhead transmission lines. Manufactured according to IEC standard, this insulator ensures excellent mechanical strength, electrical performance, and long-term stability under various environmental conditions.
The glass body offers superior transparency for easy inspection and outstanding resistance to aging and pollution. The ball and socket coupling allows quick installation and replacement during maintenance. With a rated mechanical load of 70 kN and a creepage distance of 320 mm, the U70BS model performs safely even in severe weather.
It is suitable for switchgear insulation and outdoor overhead lines operating at up to 1000 V and 100 Hz, within a temperature range from –60 °C to +50 °C. This makes it ideal for high-altitude, coastal, or desert regions where durability and insulation reliability are critical.
