Customized Iron Base for Polymer Post Insulators
Bendable Base
Crafted from formed steel, this base attaches to the polymer insulator via two bolts at the anchor end. It comes in two mounting styles-gain and flat-and supports upsweep angles of 0° or 12°, depending on application needs. The 0° angle is intended for braced post setups. Unlike rigid fixed bases, the bendable type allows minor angular adjustment to accommodate installation variances.
Fixed Base
Constructed from cast iron, the fixed base connects to Composite insulators with a 5-inch bolt circle using four bolts. Unlike bendable bases, this design offers no flexibility for movement. It is available in both gain and flat configurations and typically features a 12° upsweep angle.
Gain Base
This base is designed for installation on round pole surfaces. It is secured to the pole using central bolt holes that align with the curvature of the pole.
Flat Base
Designed for use on flat surfaces, the flat base can be mounted using either the four bolts located at the corners or the two central bolt holes. It ensures stable and secure attachment to level mounting platforms.
