On August 4th, in accordance with the relevant requirements of the second meeting of the Central Comprehensive Deepening Reform Committee to accelerate the construction of a new power system that is clean, low-carbon, safe and abundant, economically efficient, coordinated between supply and demand, and flexible and intelligent, Yunnan Provincial Energy Bureau and China Southern Power Grid Yunnan Power Grid Corporation ( Hereinafter referred to as "Yunnan Power Grid Corporation") launched the 2023 New Power System Development Forum.
The theme of this forum is "Building a new energy system with the support of a new power system", and the plate is set as "1+3", "1" is the opening speech and keynote forum; "3" is 3 sub-forums, including the Yunnan Energy Channel Sub-forum with new power system, digitalization and greenization to promote the construction of new power system and new energy system sub-forum, and policy and market mechanism sub-forum to build a new energy system.
Since the Party Central Committee proposed to build a new power system, in 2022, the Yunnan Provincial Government and China Southern Power Grid jointly applied to the country to list Yunnan Province as a national-level new power system pilot demonstration area. Yunnan Power Grid Corporation conscientiously implemented the decision-making deployment of the provincial party committee and the provincial government and China Southern Power Grid Corporation, drew a development blueprint, and issued the "Yunnan Power Grid Corporation's Action Plan for Building a New Power System" to point out the direction for the construction of a new power system. Compile 7 new power system construction plans including the "New Power System Construction Plan with High Proportion of Renewable Energy in Yunnan (2022-2025)", and build a "1+2+4" three-level collaborative new power system demonstration area at the provincial, prefectural and county levels Build a top-level design, highlight the commonality of the province's new power system construction and the individual characteristics of demonstration states and counties, solve key technical problems in the new power system according to local conditions, and explore the road ahead for the construction of a new power system.
As the construction of Yunnan's new power system continues to advance, many pioneering initiatives have emerged: the first to launch the "Green Electricity Voucher" service in the country. A demand response mechanism was established, and the demand-side response capacity reached 2.23 million kilowatts. The digitization and intelligentization of the power grid will accelerate the transformation, create the "Colorful Cloud Digital Energy" data brand, build a "1+3+N" data product system, sort out 17 directions and 46 scenarios, and the first batch of data products will be launched and applied. The dangerous fire points in the power transmission corridor realized the integrated early warning of space, ground and air, and the automatic inspection route of drones was planned for 98,800 kilometers. The replacement rate reached 80%. The effective coverage rate of power distribution automation in the province has reached 90%, ranking first in the west. The number of charging piles has the largest market share in Yunnan Province. Comprehensively launch new power system research, relying on a new generation of digital technology, continuously enhance system dynamic balance capabilities and large-scale optimal allocation of resources, clean energy consumption and comprehensive energy utilization efficiency is close to 100%.
