Our country established porcelain, glass, composite insulator and substation insulator manufacturing enterprises in 1915, 1958, 1985 and 1936 respectively. Different types of electrical insulators in our country have withstood the test of special operating environments such as long-term icing, high altitude, dirt, high temperature, low temperature, ultraviolet rays, rain, lightning, earthquakes, typhoons, etc. The successful operation experience has proved that different types of electrical insulators have excellent electrical, mechanical, weather resistance and earthquake resistance.

The Glass Insulator
A device used to support and insulate electrical conductors is called an insulator. When this insulator is made of glass, it is referred to as a glass insulator. The most widely used type in power lines is the toughened glass insulator.

The Porcelain Insulator
Insulators made of electrical ceramics are commonly used in electrical applications. Electrical ceramics are produced by baking raw materials such as quartz, feldspar, and clay. The surface of porcelain insulators is typically coated with a porcelain glaze to enhance mechanical strength, improve waterproofing, and increase surface smoothness.

The Composite Insulator
Organic composite insulators are a new type of line insulator manufactured primarily from organic polymer insulating materials. They mainly consist of three parts: the core rod, the housing (sheds and sheath), and the end fittings (metal attachments).

HDPE Insulator
Power insulators made primarily from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) are a type of insulator where HDPE, a thermoplastic polymer, is used as the main material. HDPE offers excellent electrical insulation properties, chemical corrosion resistance, weather resistance, and mechanical strength.
