Maintenance and management of composite insulators：
In wet weather, dirty insulators are prone to flashover discharge, so it is necessary to clean them and restore the original insulation level.
General areas are cleaned once a year, and dirty areas are cleaned twice a year (once before fog season).
1. Power failure cleaning
Power failure cleaning is in the line after power failure workers on the pole with a rag wipe.If it is not clean, it can be wiped with a wet cloth or scrubbed with detergent. If it is not clean, the insulator should be replaced or the synthetic insulator should be changed.
2. Clean without power failure
Generally, an insulating rod with a brush or tied with cotton yarn is used to wipe the insulator on the operating line.The electrical performance, effective length and distance between the person and the live part of the insulation rod used shall comply with the provisions of the corresponding voltage class.
3. Rinse with electrified water
Big flush and small flush two methods.The washing water, the effective length of the operating rod, the distance between the person and the live part and so on must conform to the requirements of the business regulations.
