Composite insulators have different requirements for the end fittings, including the ball, socket, eyes, clevis, and tongue, depending on the specific application. All are hot-dip galvanized, with a zinc coating surface uniformity of up to 86µm. Depending on customer needs, thicknesses of 100µm and above are possible, but this will impact material cost.
