Use
Pin-type composite insulators for high-voltage lines are used to insulate and support conductors in high-voltage overhead transmission and distribution lines.
Precautions for product installation
1. The products must be stored in a dry warehouse and should be protected from rodents, while the storage place should avoid oil and petrochemicals.
2. During the transportation process, the fixtures and other heavy objects should not be stacked directly on the insulator to avoid damaging the insulator umbrella sleeve, and thus the package should be opened only at the installation site.
3. Care must be taken when opening the box not to let sharp objects cut through the umbrella skirt.
4. At the installation site, never drag the insulator to walk on the ground.
5. Care should be taken not to bend the insulator rod excessively to avoid excessive bending stress on the mandrel.
6. When handling manually, two or more persons should carry the insulator.
7. When lifting the insulator, it is not allowed to hang the rope directly on the umbrella sleeve, but on the end attachment.
8. Do not step on or climb the composite insulator.
9. During the installation process, try to avoid excessive bending or twisting stress on the mandrel. Also do not rotate insulators that have been fixed or loaded when hanging the wire.
