The horizontal line post insulator is designed for overhead transmission lines and is typically installed on crossarms of electrical poles or transmission towers. It is produced to withstand horizontal vertical loads, effectively preventing conductor movement and flexing, thereby ensuring the long-term stability and reliability of the power system. This model is a high-strength 69 kV line post insulator, equipped with a horizontal line clamp made of aluminum alloy, suitable for conductors ranging from 450 MCM to 559.5 MCM.
The insulator is made up of:
End fittings made of hot-dip galvanized metal
Fiberglass (FRP) core rod with high strength
Hydrophobic silicone rubber housing and sheds
It offers superior mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and electrical insulating performance in addition to being lightweight and simple to install.
