Iron Gain Base For Composite Station Insulator
Bendable Base - Constructed from formed steel, this base is designed to connect with the anchor end fitting of the insulator using 2 mounting bolts. Bendable bases are available in gain and flat designs, offering 0 degree and 12 degree upsweep angles as needed. (The 0 degree upsweep design is specifically intended for braced post applications only.)
Fixed Base - Made of cast iron, this base connects with a 5" bolt circle end fitting of the insulator using 4 bolts. While bendable designs allow for some articulation of the insulator, the fixed base does not. The fixed design comes in gain and flat options, featuring a standard 12 degree upsweep angle.
Gain Base - This base design is utilized to connect the insulator to a round pole surface, secured to the pole through its center bolt mount holes.
Flat Base - Designed for mating the insulator to a flat surface, this base can be attached using either the 4 bolt holes along its ears or the 2 center mount bolt holes.

Products Description
Bendable Curved Base
Structural Features: The base is curved/curved, allowing it to bend along the mounting surface.
The curvature design ensures a tight fit between the base and the pole or crossarm.
It is typically a metal sheet or composite material bonded to the bottom of the insulator.
Advantages: Adaptable to uneven or curved support structures during installation. Distributes mechanical stress evenly, withstanding tensile and bending forces. Easier to fix to curved crossarms, angle steel, or diagonal poles.
Suitable Scenarios: Line poles with variable angles. Uneven support or crossarm surfaces. Places requiring bending to adjust the mounting angle.
Bendable Flat Base
Structural Features: The base is originally flat but can be slightly bent.
The bending range is small, primarily used for fine-tuning the mounting plane. The base usually has bolt holes for fixing to crossarms or supports.
Advantages: Simple installation, suitable for standard flat supports. Can be fine-tuned to fit the support surface. Maintains the stability of flat installation.
Suitable Scenarios: Straight poles or crossarm supports. Surfaces are generally flat, but fine-tuning of the mounting angle is required. Low to medium voltage lines, standard installation.
