On June 30, Huaneng Shangdu million-kilowatt wind power base project, the country's first "wind and fire bundled" new energy large base project, was connected to the grid for power generation at full capacity. The project will build 5 wind farms, 5 220 kV step-up stations and 1 500 kV central collection station, which can deliver 6.5 billion kWh of clean electricity to the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangzhou area every year, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 540. tons. On June 25, the first phase of hydro-photovoltaic hybrid power station project of State Investment Group Yalong River Lianghekou Hydropower Station - Kela Phase I photovoltaic power station was connected to the grid for power generation, marking the official commissioning of the world's first mega-kilowatt hydro-photovoltaic hybrid power station. The power station realizes the "bundling" of photovoltaic power generation and hydropower transmission. The hydropower station can adjust the photovoltaic power station within a day, promote the consumption of new energy, improve the utilization rate of the transmission line, and add another "new force" to the power supply guarantee in Sichuan and Chongqing.

Recently, as the first affordable offshore wind power project of China Energy Group, the Bozhong B2 offshore wind power project was fully connected to the grid for power generation. The total installed capacity of the project is 501.5 MW, and 59 8.5 MW wind turbines are installed, which can generate about 1.589 billion kWh of electricity per year, which can meet the annual electricity consumption of 1.72 million households in Shandong Province.
