On July 3, the State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company issued blue warnings for rainstorms, floods, and geological disasters, organized its affiliated units to do a good job in prevention and emergency response, closely tracked and monitored weather changes, reasonably arranged the operation mode of the power grid, and implemented disaster prevention measures to ensure safe and stable operation of the power grid.
On July 4, heavy rains fell in Wanzhou District of Chongqing City, and Changtan Township experienced heavy rains. Wanzhou Power Supply Company immediately organized operation and maintenance personnel to conduct special inspections of substations and lines under its jurisdiction, and found traces of lightning strikes on the C-phase insulator of pole No. 127 of the 10 kV sub-training line. The company quickly compiled a defect elimination plan, adjusted the operation mode of the power grid, and transferred the relevant load to adjacent lines without the customer's "zero perception". At 14:00, 8 emergency repair personnel drove 1 emergency repair vehicle and 1 aerial work vehicle to the scene to carry out defect elimination operations. Two hours later, the sub-training line resumed normal operation.
Wanzhou Power Supply Company is doing a good job in the special inspection of equipment in the supply area and eliminating defects. At the same time, according to the unified arrangement of the Wanzhou District Government, it organizes emergency repair forces to participate in the emergency work of Changtan Town, Changling Town and other local power supply areas.
This summer, State Grid Chongqing Electric Power is actively making preparations for flood control. In view of the city's high temperature, low precipitation, early flood season, and local storms and floods, it has deployed work in advance to investigate and manage flood control hazards, improve flood control and disaster resistance capabilities, and ensure that flood control responsibilities at all levels are compacted. The company consolidated the foundation of flood control work, organized and carried out 32 flood control emergency drills, with a total of 394 people participating; investigated the flood control risks of 17 low-lying substations, 41 low-lying distribution substation houses and 178 important users; carried out 28 special flood control inspections, found 118 problems and completed all rectifications.
State Grid Chongqing Electric Power has strengthened emergency management, improved early warning response capabilities, strengthened government-enterprise linkage, scientifically researched and judged, and released early warning information in a timely manner. As of July 5, the company has issued a total of 16 blue warnings for rainstorms, lightning, strong convection, floods, and geological disasters this year, and has dispatched a total of 17,466 emergency repair personnel. The company has also strengthened the emergency repair force, and set up 443 emergency repair stations as a whole, equipped with 893 emergency repair vehicles, 72 emergency generator vehicles, 291 emergency generators, 16 assault boats, 34 rubber boats, 3 large drainage vehicles, and 3 mobile drainage shelters to improve the rapid response ability to deal with various natural disasters.
This year, State Grid Chongqing Electric Power also piloted the application of substation flood control online monitoring technology to realize the centralized monitoring of the water level of the 110 kV Xinpaifang underground substation; deepened the application of drone inspection technology, and carried out drone inspection operations on 28 important transmission lines before summer.
