High Voltage Polymer Drop Fuse

The drop fuse (drop-out fuse cutout) is designed with a reliable contact structure to ensure stable performance during long-term operation.
The fuse tube uses a double-contact arrangement on the upper moving contact, while the lower side adopts a flip-type moving contact. The upper fixed contact provides two actual contact points, one based on contact pressure and the other using a clip structure. This combination helps maintain sufficient contact force in service and reduces the risk of overheating, discharge, or contact burning after long periods of use.
The fuse tube is designed in two sections. When the fuse operates, the upper part remains in position, while the lower part drops smoothly and clearly, ensuring reliable drop-out action and easy visual indication.
The joint between the upper and lower tube sections includes practical anti-loosening and anti-vibration measures, which help keep the connection stable and allow the rated current to pass without excessive temperature rise. This also supports consistent and reliable drop performance.
All connecting parts are made from materials suitable for outdoor installation, offering good resistance to corrosion and electrical corrosion under long-term environmental exposure.
