Composite Insulator (composite insulator), also known as synthetic insulator, non-porcelain insulator, polymer insulator, silicone rubber insulator, etc., its main structure is generally composed of umbrella skirt sheath (hosing and shed) glass and steel core (FRP core
) and end-fitting are composed of three parts.
The umbrella skirt sheath is generally made of organic synthetic materials, such as ethylene propylene rubber, high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, etc.
FRP mandrel is generally glass fiber reinforced material, reoxy resin as the matrix of glass conforming material;
The end fittings are generally carbon steel or carbon structural steel coated with hot zinc aluminum.
