This polymer suspension insulator is designed for overhead distribution systems. Compared with traditional porcelain types, it delivers improved performance in terms of strength, insulation, and resistance to environmental conditions.
The model FXBW-24/80CT is rated at 24kV with a specified mechanical load of 80kN, making it suitable for both suspension and tension applications. Its core rod, made of epoxy resin reinforced with glass fiber, ensures stable mechanical performance even under high stress conditions.
The outer housing is made of high-quality silicone rubber with excellent hydrophobic properties. This helps prevent the formation of continuous water films on the surface, reducing the risk of flashover in polluted or wet environments.
In terms of electrical performance, the insulator can withstand a power frequency wet voltage of 50kV and a lightning impulse voltage of 145kV under dry conditions, ensuring reliable operation in different service environments.
With a compact design, the total height is 450mm, with a dry arcing distance of 280mm and a creepage distance of 650mm. These parameters fully meet the requirements for safe and stable operation in distribution lines.
