Products Description
Weathersheds & Housing
The weathersheds and housing are manufactured from the same base material - 100% silicone rubber prior to filler addition.
Our silicone rubber is formulated in-house, providing excellent hydrophobicity and superior adhesion to the fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) core rod.
Core Rod
A high-quality pultruded FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) rod is used as the core. The rod is manufactured with uniform fiber alignment and optimized fiber distribution, impregnated with epoxy resin to ensure high mechanical strength and reliability.
End Fittings
End fittings are made of high-grade forged steel or ductile iron. All ferrous components, except stainless steel parts, are hot-dip galvanized in accordance with ASTM A153. The cotter key is made of stainless steel to ensure corrosion resistance.

Application
1️⃣ Dead-end Structure
For 35kV lines:
Line start/end point
Substation incoming/outgoing lines
Used to secure the conductor and bear all tension.
2️⃣ Angle Tower/Angle Pole
When the line turns (e.g., 15°, 30°, 60°, etc.):
The conductor experiences lateral tension.
Tension insulators are required to withstand the unbalanced tension.
3️⃣ Long Span
Crossing:
Highways
Rivers
Valleys
Railways
Large spans and high mechanical loads require tension-resistant structures.
4️⃣ Mountainous or Windy Areas
In:
High-altitude areas
Typhoon-prone areas
Ice-covered areas
Tension insulators can withstand higher mechanical loads (70kN/100kN/120kN, etc.).
